achieve various designs. Cloth shaped by these
methods is secured in a number of ways, such as binding and knotting. The
shibori family of techniques includes numerous resist processes practiced
throughout the world. Arashi, Kumo, Itajime, Bomaki, Nui, Mothda, Leheriya etc
are some of the techniques used to create designs.
